I came to know Glenn while I was a county court and circuit court judge in Meridian. We became good friends and even fished together on many occasions. I respected him as a competent and trustworthy officer and dedicated public servant. I regret that I have an out of town obligation Thursday and will not be able to attend the funeral service. I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep the family in my prayers.

Mr. Glenn Knight was one of a kind. He and my daddy, Hubert Rivers, were great friends when they worked together at MPD. He was a gentle giant with a big heart. You will be greatly missed. I have great memories of you back in the good old days.
