Funeral Services for Alice C. Stewart will be Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00am at Jones Chapel Church of God with Rev. Ron Leonard officiating. Burial to follow at Jones Chapel Church of God Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stewart, 89, of Meridian, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Meridian. She was an active member of jones Chapel Church of God where she served as a Sunday School teacher superintendent, Vacation Bible school director and a member of WCG. She lived a life of faith and loved her family, children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, P.C. “Kit” Stewart; parents; John and Margie Cummings and a brother, Roger Cummings.
She is survived by her son, Mack (Linda) Stewart; daughter, Pelvia (Charles) Woods; grandchildren: Alisha (Kenny) Parker and Christopher (JoAnna) Stewart; great grandchildren: Kennedy Parker, Mason Parker and Benjamin Stewart; brother, Paul Cummings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Galyean, Richie Miska, Barry Boatner, Bobby Cummings, Ryan Kelly and Johnny Brewer.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Jones Chapel Church of God Building Fund.
Visitation will on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at James F. Webb Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church.
