Betty Barton

September 30, 1952 — February 22, 2021

Services for Mrs. Betty Barton will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at graveside with Bro. Keith Stewart officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper County.  James F. Webb Funeral Home is honored to handle these arrangements.

Mrs. Barton, 68, of Meridian, passed away at Poplar Springs Nursing Home on February 22, 2021.  She had a heart of gold and was a social butterfly, enjoying spending time with her family and friends.  She especially loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed spending time on her CB Radio, her handle was "Hip Bone".

She is survived by her husband, Walter Barton; Children, Dana Ipock (Jonathan) and Wally Barton (Denise); Ten Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren; Three Sisters, Cathy Chandler (James), Recee Stewart (Keith), and Judy Milstead (Blue); and by numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bonnie Raines; Brother, John W. Raines; and two grandsons, Bentley and Joseph.
