Delores "De" Gardner

Delores “De” Gardner, 83, went peacefully from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Michael H. Gibson and Rev. Aubry Martin officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

De is survived by her grandchildren, Opal Friendshuh, Danny Cornacchione and Phillip Gardner; bonus children, Scott Gardner and his wife, Trese and Lea Gardner; special cousins, Jan Erickson and Bev Cowart; other cousins, Donna Wellman, David Craven, Ryan Castle, Linda Dufrene, Glen Castle, Kathy Lehman, Terry Culpepper, Raymond Illges, Rick Branning, Lank Embrey, Alfred Embrey and Don Embrey, as well as an aunt, Evie Craven.

De was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gardner, daughter, Angela Cornacchione, and parents, Charles and Opal Whatley.

We would like to thank Halcyon Hospice and all the friends who came to sit with De.
