Ethel Overdorf

Services for Ms. Ethel Mae Overdorf will be held Friday, January 10th, 2:00 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Pastor Paul LeBlanc and Pastor Samuel Riemersma officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Ms. Overdorf, 95, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, January 8th, at Aldersgate Retirement Community.

Ms. Ethel was born in Jersey Shore, PA. She went on to become a Nurse Anesthetist, which she later retired from. She was a member of the Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church who loved to crochet, liked “Maxine” sayings, and was an excellent cook. She also adored the color purple and wore it often. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by nieces, Kerry Krikava of Bismark, ND and Jen Howard of Tioga, ND; and nephew, Kim Overdorf of Tioga, ND.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Overdorf Sr. and Marguerite Overdorf; brother, Marvin Overdorf Jr.; sister-in-law, Marlis Overdorf; nieces, Mary Sue Overdorf and April Deeter; and nephew, Todd Overdorf.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the Funeral Home.
