Frank Long Jr.

Services for Mr. Frank Long will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 12:30 p.m. with Father Augustine officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 - 12 at James F. Webb Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Long, 72, of Meridian, passed away at Anderson Regional Medical Center on January 13, 2020.  Frank was a Meridian High School graduate and studied at Meridian Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi.  He was a Master Sergeant of the Mississippi Air National Guard and the Former Air Operations Superintendent 186TRD.  He was an active member of the Northeast Volunteer Fire Department.  He enjoyed serving the public through his military and volunteer work. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  He recently celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary to the love of his life, Carol.  Family wishes to thank all those at Anderson Regional Health System and at Brookdale Senior Living Meridian for treating Frank with dignity and compassion through the past few years.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Carson Long; and by several other family and friends.

He is preceded by his parents, Frank T. Long Sr. and Mary Frances (Ellis) Long; and a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Long.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in his memory to Children's of Alabama.
