Mrs. Helen Coleman Allen

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Coleman Allen will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Graveside, 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Dennis Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Allen, age 93, of Meridian, passed away on July 7, 2013 at Golden Meadows Nursing Home in Shubuta. She was a lifelong member of Hawkins Memorial Methodist Church. She was a volunteer at the Wesley House for 19 years and a faithful pastors wife for many years.

She is survived by her Nieces, Margaret Bracken, Tina L. McCutchen, and Margie L. Keene and by Nine Great Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lamar and Margaret Coleman her husband, Rev. Preston Brooks Allen Jr. Brother, Charles J. Coleman Sister, Margaret F. Wheeler and two Nephews, Clifford Buddy Roberson and Robert Bob McQueen.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 12 1:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hawkins Memorial United Methodist Church building fund.
