James Crenshaw

A memorial service will be held for Mr. James Odell Crenshaw Saturday, May 18th, 1:00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Early officiating.

Mr. Crenshaw, 71, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Odell was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially loved watching his grandchildren participate in their activities such as softball and band. He will be most remembered for being a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Dawn Barker and husband Aaron and Brande Beddingfield and husband Chris; grandchildren, Raine Beddingfield, Raley Beddingfield, Will Barker, Abby Barker, Inger Slaughter, Bonnie Slaughter, Ansley Slaughter, and Will Slaughter; sisters, Jane Scruggs and Delores Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Odell “T.O.” and Annie Mae McGrew Crenshaw; and wife, Betty Crenshaw.
