Graveside services for Jonathan Nicholas Almond will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Cemetery in Cuba, AL with Rev. Richard Wilson and Rev. Willie Wilson officiating. James F. Webb in charge of arrangements.
Infant Almond, 7 weeks old, died on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a Miracle baby for his seven weeks of life and his family loves him and will dearly miss him.
He is survived by his mother, Nicole Anderson of Meridian father, Johnny Almond of Lauderdale grandmothers, Lynette Anderson of Meridian and Dorothy Almond of Lauderdale great grandmothers, Geraldine Sped of Meridian and Ruth Smoot of Atlanta, GA great grandfather, Horace Speed of San Bernando, CA numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Russell Anderson, Sr. and Robert Almond, Jr. and great grandmothers, Tessie Wilson and Iva Almond.
