Maudie Elaine Clark

October 31, 1932 — February 2, 2020

Services for Elaine Clark will be held Friday, February 7th, 3:00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Bro. James Gordon and Bro. Jerry Johnson officiating. A private burial will take place at Meridian Memorial Park.

Mrs. Clark, 87, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, February 2nd at Bedford Care Center of Marion.

She was born on October 31, 1932 to Evan and Claudie Flowers in Meridian, MS.

She kept books for her Father’s business at C&D Wrecking Yard before going to work at the Lauderdale Co. Tax Collector’s office.

Elaine Married the love of her life Charles on February 10, 1952. She was known as his “Baby Elaine” and has been lost without him since he passed away on October 12, 2019. They are now together forever with the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana – Spoiler of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. They all remember the snack corner, Cokes, ice cream and Nana cookies she shared.

A great Mom who lived a Godly example before us. Teaching us to put God first in our lives. Even thought our parents last few years on earth were challenging physically, their faith never wavered nor their praise to Him.

She loved to shop! A scrap of material and a search for a matching shoe could be exhausting. She was a perfectionist in sewing. She loved to cook, camping with family, and traveling.

She was a member of Cathedral Assembly of God Church where she served as Secretary and Treasurer for many years.

She is survived by daughters, Michelle Levine and husband Danny, and Kathy Robinson and husband Rick; grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Laurel Ethridge, Charlie Robinson (Gina), Kim Boles, Brett Holloway (Elizabeth), and Alex Levine; eight great grandchildren, and several cherished nieces and nephews; sister, Merle Locklear and brother-in-law, Jack Bell.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles P. Clark; parents, Evan and Claudie Flowers; and sister, Jane Thomas Bell.

We would like to thank Bedford Care Center, Hospice Compassus, Deconess and Home Instead for the wonderful care they gave to our parents.

Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.jamesfwebb.com.
