Opal Dukes

Services for Mrs. Opal Dukes will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at 10 a.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Dukes, 89, of Meridian, passed away at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center on Thursday, December 19, 2019. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She worked several jobs during her life but her favorite job was childcare. She loved taking care of children.

She is survived by her Daughters, Donna Slayton (Danny), Marcia Moore (Joe); Cindy White (Rodney), Son, Darryl Dukes; Grandchildren, Shannon Barham (Tyler), Staci Harrell (Jonathan), Adam White (Shelby), Matthew White, Jason Dukes, Jazzmin Dukes; Great grandchildren, Makenzie Barham, Jake Barham, Slate Harrell, Finley Harrell, Ember Harrell, Lane Bowden, John Chandler White, Kaeli Dukes, Kaden Dukes; Sister, Dorothy Bearden; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tal Dukes; Daughter, Shannon Leah Dukes; a Brother and Two Sisters; and Grandson, Dustin Dukes.
