Services for Mrs. Rita Broadway will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Justin Fortenberry officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be held in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Broadway passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at WRMC in Fayetville, Arkansas. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved to fish and spend time with her family and best friend Betty Busby. She loved all the ladies in the church. She enjoyed flower gardening, watching the birds and squirrels. She also enjoyed watching westerns.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Crocker, Chris Broadway (Rena), James Broadway, Eddie Broadway Jr. (Pearla); Grandchildren, Courtney Crocker, Stacey Creighton (Andy), Linnie Swanner II, Deidre Graham, Anthony Broadway; Great Grand Children, Kristopher Swanner, A'na Irby, Natalie Irby, A. J. Creighton, Kayden Gray, Bryson Graham, J'Kron Graham, Isabella Pierce, Kalli Pierce, Tyler Swanner; Sister, Wanda Haney; Brothers, James Scarbrough (Debbie), Donnie Scarbrough (Elsie May); Niece,Vickie Haney, and numerous other neices and nephews.
She is preceded by her husband Eddie Broadway Sr.; Parents, Lola Jane Ashley and Robert Lee Scarbrough; Brothers, Edward David Scarbrough, Robert Scarbrough; Sisters, Minnie Lois McKenzie, Mamie Lou Bishop and Shirley Faye Scarbrough; Children, Eddie David and Rita Faye Broadway; and a grandson, Lindsey Swanner.
